Dalian Turuss International Co., Ltd. offically signed the land trasfer contract with DaLian International Logistics Zone Company Limited on 2nd, January, 2008, which is the first wood processing project in Dayaowan Free Trade Port Zone.

Dalian Dayaowan Free Trade Port Zone (DDFTPZ) was established in 2006 with an area of 6.9 square kilometers. In June 2007, an area of 3.1 square kilometers of the first development phase was jointly inspected and accepted by relevant ministries and commissions of the State Council. It started operations in August of the same year. Dalian Dayaowan Free Trade Zone complements the Dalian Free Trade Zone described above.

The free trade port zone, as a Chinese characteristic free port, is covering all the functions and policies of free trade zones, export processing zones, bonded logistics parks and other special customs supervision zones.

Välinge signs the licenses with Turuss.

Välinge has entered into global non-exclusive wood license agreements for mechanical locking systems with the Chinese company Dalian Turuss.

This company will now use the by Välinge patented mechanical locking technology in the production of wooden floors.

Dalian Turuss, located in Dalian, is a modern factory with a capacity of 1,5 M sq.m engineered and solid wood floor. Dalian Turuss has within the group total control over the production chain, from logs processed in their own sawmills both in Russia and China, to the end product, finished floorboard packages. 100 % of the production is intended for export.

Dalian Turuss is also expanding, building a new factory in Dalian Free Trade Port Area.
